Building Cyber Resilience Across the Aviation Ecosystem

Virtual Event | June 23

Presented By

The aviation industry is facing a pivotal moment. New regulatory mandates now require airlines to assess all corporate assets for cyber risk—including the aircraft itself. Yet across the industry, cybersecurity teams and aircraft maintenance and operations teams often operate in silos, with limited coordination and no shared framework for managing aircraft cyber risk.

The Cyber Aviation Global Forum, sponsored by Cyviation and presented by Royal Media and Cargo Facts, is a digital event designed to close this gap. More than a discussion of threats, the Forum focuses on actionable solutions, operational alignment, regulatory clarity, and scalable service models that can move the commercial aviation industry forward immediately. Our goal is also to bring together disparate ends of the aviation industry for meaningful information-sharing and virtual networking.

Designed as a high-impact, executive-level digital event, the Cyber Aviation Global Forum features:

  • Fireside chats with industry leaders
  • Multi-stakeholder regulatory panels
  • Operator case studies
  • Interactive audience engagement
  • And more…

We hope you will join us for this important virtual gathering on the future of cyber aviation.

Key Focus

Operational Integration

A core focus of the Cyber Aviation Global Forum is operational integration. Aircraft systems are highly regulated, complex environments where downtime is unacceptable. Traditional IT-based approaches are often impractical.

Sessions will explore virtual aircraft modeling and simulation for risk assessment without operational impact, risk-based aircraft security frameworks, and governance models that align CISO, maintenance, and executive leadership.

Compliance

Regulations now require comprehensive risk management frameworks that include aircraft systems. In addition to the FAA’s RTCA DO-326A; DO-356A and DO-355A, EASA’s Organizational Cybersecurity Guidelines, known as Part-IS, are going into effect. However, many airlines lack clarity on implementation—what constitutes sufficient assessment, where responsibility lies, and how to conduct risk evaluations without disrupting operations.

Service Models

Major OEMs and service providers are developing integrated cybersecurity suites that combine risk analysis, monitoring, compliance reporting, and aircraft-specific solutions under unified platforms. The Forum examines how airlines evaluate and procure holistic solutions, how subscription and per-aircraft service models are evolving, and how mixed fleets and private operators can implement scalable protections.

Agenda

9:40 – Session 1 – The State of Cybersecurity in Aviation (Fireside Chat)

A key cyber industry leader in the aviation sector will perspectives on current security imperatives, as well as share important observations, ideas and best practices for better cybersecurity in aviation and aircraft management.

10:10 – Session 2 – Physical Security: Protecting Aircraft Exposure & Risk (Presentation)

This session focuses on physical/aircraft-related security issues — including aircraft systems, onboard devices, and exposure risks.

10:40 – Break

10:45 – Session 3 — Operational Alignment: CISO–MRO–Maintenance Coordination (Panel)

This session addresses how CISOs, maintenance teams, MROs, and operational leadership can function together — specifically on how to bridge the disconnect between cybersecurity leadership and aircraft operations.

PANELISTS:

11:20 – Session 4 – Interactive Live Polling Session on Market Sentiments

During this interactive session, attendees will respond to a series of timely poll questions to gain a greater understanding of current market sentiments.

11:30 – Session 5 — Regulatory Update: What’s New with FAA, EASA, and Asset Regulations (Presentation)

This presentation covers current and upcoming regulations, including FAA and EASA directives, and how airlines/operators are expected to comply.

12:00 – Session 6 – Holistic, Suite-Based Cyber & Risk Services for Aviation (Panel)

How should airlines evaluate and procure holistic aviation cyber solutions? This panel will explore answers to that important question, focusing on integrated, end-to-end cybersecurity and risk management services, such as manufacturer-led suites like those from Boeing and Airbus.

12:30 – Forum Ends
