SiNguyen Vo is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), where he leads the organization’s information security strategy, governance, and risk management program. He was instrumental in advancing ICAO’s cybersecurity maturity and achieving ISO/IEC 27001 certification.

With experience across both public and private sectors, including roles at municipal and provincial levels, as well as within law enforcement environments and large multinational organizations, SiNguyen brings a pragmatic and operationally grounded approach to cybersecurity. His background enables him to navigate complex, high-stakes environments where security, operations, and governance must align.

He focuses on integrating cybersecurity into operational environments, ensuring that security supports, rather than disrupts, critical activities. His approach emphasizes risk-based decision-making, governance, and alignment between security, technology, and operational teams.

He brings practical experience in managing cyber incidents, third-party risks, and complex multi-stakeholder environments, including global systems supporting aviation operations. His current work includes advancing cyber resilience, addressing emerging risks such as artificial intelligence, and strengthening coordination between cybersecurity and operational functions.
