Roberto Russo is a senior cybersecurity professional with over 25 years of experience across defense, aviation, and highly regulated industries. He began his career in 1999 with the Italian Air Force (Aeronautica Militare), gaining early exposure to mission-critical environments, operational discipline, intelligence and security-critical systems. He later transitioned into the private sector, working in enterprise and IT operations environments, including experience with Microsoft, before joining Boeing, where he has held multiple roles across information security, cybersecurity, and digital risk. Most recently he is serving as Cybersecurity Engagement Director for Boeing Aviation Business Solutions helping the airlines in the Cybersecurity domain, before that he served as Business Information Security Officer (BISO) for Europe, the UK, and Israel, acting as a strategic interface between cybersecurity, business, and regulatory stakeholders.
