Jude Rwaka is an accomplished technology leader with over 15 years of experience in Information Technology management, Cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure development across various industries, including Aviation, Banking, and Academia. As the Director of Information Technology at RwandAir, Jude plays a pivotal role in re-defining the airline’s IT strategy, Ensuring a Cybersecurity secure IT environment for all critical Airline systems both on ground and onboard. He also plays a key role as advisory to Senior Management on adoption of cutting-edge technologies to enhance operational efficiency and customer service.

Since joining RwandAir, Jude has been instrumental in overseeing the airline’s IT infrastructure, including the optimization of Network systems, Data centers, Digitization and Automation, Cybersecurity programs. His leadership in implementing an Information Security Program has significantly strengthened the Airline defense Cyber Defense measure to ensure the safety and privacy of passenger data and the integrity of aviation data.

Jude also is actively engaged and keynote speaker in a number of ICAO and IATA restricted cyber security forums designed to formulate policies, regulations governing the aviation cyber security operations.

Before RwandAir, Jude held senior IT management in Banks, where he led the Bank IT strategy achieving digital transformation goals. His work included the successful upgrades of core banking systems, Roll out and enhancement of electronic channels, and Designed and fortification of the Bank cybersecurity program, Managed Large- scale Bank IT Infrastructure projects including Data Center Virtualization, Network Security and Disaster recovery Planning which contributed to the bank’s reputation for innovation and security.
